The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated College of Commerce, Warri for winning the 2021 Zenith Bank Delta Principals’ Cup
The Students of College Of Commerce, Warri, on Tuesday, November 30th, 2021, defeated Osa Dennis High School, Asaba through penalties to emerge 2021 champions.
In a Press Statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Dennis Otu, in Asaba, the Speaker commended both schools that made it to the finals for making their various schools proud.
According to the Statement; “I want to congratulate College of Commerce, Warri for emerging the winner of the 2021 Zenith Bank Delta Principals’ Cup, which they also won last year. This is great and I rejoice with College of Commerce, Warri”.
Rt Hon Oborevwori also said that; “It is a popular saying that Warri nor dey carry last and truely the students of College of Commerce, Warri, proved that today at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba and I am very excited about the Football Match. Up Warri”.
“Both schools tried very well and they are highly commended. Football is an interesting game and there must be a winner at the end of the day and that played out today at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba. I felicitate with the students of College of Commerce, Warri and students of Osa Dennis High school, Asaba”, the Speaker said.
