Sheriff Oborevwori Foundation, Commences Distribution of Exercise Books to Primary and Secondary Schools in Okpe State Constituency.

Sheriff Oborevwori Foundation, today Tuesday 4th May, 2021, commenced the distribution of exercise books to primary and secondary schools in Okpe State Constituency, in continuation of the quest of the Foundation to continuously meet the educational needs of the constituents.

Annually, cheques are doled out by the Foundation to students in various universities, who are under the scholarship programme.

At Adane-okpe primary, Rt Hon Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, who is also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation and was represented by his wife, Mrs Tobore Oborevwori, enjoined the pupils to make good use of the exercise books, saying that the exercise books are a token of the support of the Foundation towards the success of their education.

She also admonished the children to take their studies seriously, as education is the only key to success in life.

Addressing the pupils and the students in the schools visited, the Coordinator of the Scholarship/Bursary Committee of the Foundation, Chief Mrs Esther E. Onokpasa, said the Foundation will continue to support the educational pursuit of the indigent children of the Constituency.

Today, the primary and secondary schools that got the books include; Adane-okpe Primary School Orerokpe, Okuloho Primary School Okuloho, Evwreke Primary School Osubi, Orerokpe Secondary School Orerokpe and Osubi secondary school Osubi.

The movement of the Foundation to other schools continues.
