I join family, friends, political associates and fellow Rt. Hon Speakers across the nation to rejoice with one of us, Rt. Hon. (Sir) Edward Uchenna Ubosi,the Financial Secretary, Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures and Honourable Speaker, Enugu State House of Assembly as he turns golden on the 3rd of April, 2021.
My fellow Rt. Hon. Speaker, as you hit the Golden year , posterity is not unmindful of your unbroken commitment in serving the good people of Enugu State with sincerity of purpose.
The robust relationship that has existed between the Legislature and the Executive arm of government in your State is largely derived from your maturity, loyalty and dedication to duty.
You have piloted the affairs of the Enugu State House of Assembly admirably and you remain an inspiration to future leaders.
I therefore, urge greater and more dedicated service from you to the people of Enugu State, noting that history will positively record your role in the development of the Legislature.
I pray that God will grant you good health, strength and continuing sound mind to keep serving God and humanity.
