The Delta State Public Finance Management bill, 2018, was on Wednesday read the second time at plenary session presided over by the Speaker Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.
The Majority Leader of the House, Hon Tim Owhefere, moved the motion for the debate on the Bill and was seconded by the Member representing Ika North East, Hon Anthony Emeka Elekeokwuri.
Hon Evance Ivwurie in his contribution, called for the speedy passage of the Bill.
Hon. Jane Orezi Esievo, representing Isoko South Constituency one, also spoke in favour of the Bill.
The Bill passed through second reading and was committed to the joint Committees of Public Account and Business and Rules.
