DELTA SPEAKER, OBOREVWORI  MOURNS DAFINONE

 

The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has expressed sadness over the demise of late Senator David Dafinone.

In a press statement issued on Monday, October 1, 2018, in Asaba, by his Chief Press Secretary, Dennis Otu, the Speaker said that the news of the Second Republic Senator, came to him as a rude shock, saying that he will be highly missed.

 

Describing him as a father  and a great leader in Okpe Kingdom, Rt Hon Oborevwori who  represents Okpe State Constituency stated that the late Senator Dafinone impacted so many people positively.

According to him; ” I received the  news of the demise of our great leader in Okpe Kingdom, Senator Dafinone, with  a rude shock. His death is a big blow.

” He did his best for humanity; he lived a life worth emulating. He came, he saw and he conquered and we  are surely going to miss this great Chartered Accountant from Okpe Kingdom who made   the Guinness Book of Records which listed him and all his six Children as Chartered Accountants. He contributed immensely to the building of a befitting palace in Okpe Kingdom. He  lived a fulfilled life”, he added.

Rt. Hon Oborevwori also said; ” It is my fervent prayer that God should grant his immediate family,  Okpe Kingdom and all those he left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and may God grant his gentle soul a perfect rest”.
