The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has congratulated the Asagba of Asaba, Prof. Chike Edozien as he turns 95.
In a Statement he personally signed, the Speaker noted that the reign of the monarch has witnessed peace, prosperity and development with indigenes and strangers alike in Asaba enjoying the amity that has attended the time of the respected Asagba.
According to him; ” Your reign has brought joy and succour to the people and may it continue to be so, as you turn 95″, adding that the collaboration the Delta State Government has enjoyed from the traditional ruler is invaluable.
The Speaker while heartily wishing the monarch happy 95th birthday on behalf of his constituents, prayed God to continue to grant him good health and sound mind, noting that longevity is a divine gift and thanked God for bestowing it on the royal father.
