BREAKING NEWS! DELTA ASSEMBLY, APPROVES REQUEST BY GOV OKOWA TO SECURE LOAN FACILITY TO MEET DELTA STATE 50% COUNTERPART CONTRIBUTION TO ACCESS THE 2017 SDG FEDERAL FUND.

Delta State House of Assembly, in a plenary presided over by the Speaker, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, today 10th April 2018, ratified the request from the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Sen. Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, to obtain loan facility of N600M, from Fidelity Bank, to enable the State Government meet its 50% counterpart contribution required to access the 2017 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) counterpart fund from the Federal Government.

The House, after a thorough debate, unanimously approved the request from the Governor in a letter dated 28 March, 2018.
